WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BE ON FOOTBALL MANAGER 2015?
As always Shakhtar Donetsk, they have a hefty transfer budget and a bunch of talented south americans plus they play in a relatively uncompetitive league, foreign player rules mean you must rest your squad half of the time anyway.
Watford because they are like a Premier League team playing in the Championship, plus their agreement with Udinese means they have brought in some good players in recent years.
Celtic are a good team to start as, having produced the likes of Victor Wanyama and Gary Hooper in previous versions, plus they are the only big team in Scotland, European qualification is a certainty, like the Basel of Scotland.
Southampton are my pick as they have been really impressive in the EPL this year, plus I was an admirer of Dusan Tadic and Sadio Mane on previous versions of the game, they look like the best base to build upon, with an excellent youth system too.
Ajax, how couldn't I? Richairo Zivkovic, Ricardo Kishna and Davy Klaassen, mass producers of Dutch talent, although PSV and Feyenoord have stars of their own to offer a good challenge.
I want to try Dinamo Zagreb on this year's game, Ante Coric and Marcelo Brozovic, they always produce good youth prospects which is a good job because the transfer budget won't be massive.
None of the massive clubs, I always find Real Madrid or Barca too easy, if you don't win silverware with those teams then you're pretty bad at Football Manager, more exciting to build a team from the ground up.
Might try China, I hear Guangzhou have a few good players, they've got Alessandro Diamanti and Alberto Gilardino they should destroy defences in the Chinese league.
Norwich City are my choice, they seem a bit overrated but I'm not going to complain, Nathan Redmond and Josh Murphy should be interesting on the wings, they have a stronger squad than most Premier League sides.
West Ham, exciting this year, injected some talent into attack with the signings of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia. Although a top four finish might just be out of the question.
I'm going to be Swansea City, a medium reputation, just signed Gylfi Sigurdsson who is probably too good for them. And Bony is a quality striker, just need to improve in other areas now.
Definitely Fulham, got lots of good youth players, the championship will give them another season to develop at a lower level, bounce back straight to the Premiership.
I've picked Aston Villa, I was Aston Villa last year, it's the team I support. Mid table finish seems about reasonable, chairman is willing to listen to offers so we might get taken over with a bit of luck.
